We have obtained the same grounds at Old Mill Park that we used previously, including the Pavilion, so that we can have breed, obedience, and temperament test at the same location. We will also have a food wagon, which is under contract by the park authority, to provide lunch on all three days. We have also contracted for a new Motel - the Best Western Fredericksburg, 2205 William Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 where we have at least 50 rooms blocked until MAY 1, 2007. The Group Rate for double rooms is $74.00. There is a $15.00 per night charge for dogs in room, an excellent, large exercise area for dogs, GREAT Parking, and Deluxe Continental Breakfast - FREE!
The motel is recently renovated, is very clean and attractive. We strongly recommend that everyone call in for reservations ASAP, for the rooms are to be held only until MAY 1 - Tell the clerk that you will attend the GSD Specialty Show and/or refer to Conformation Number 84065 to get the Group Rate.
We also recommend that people who already have reservations at the HOJO South Motel cancel those reservations and call the Best Western; because of the Renovation, parking and rooms will be very unhandy at HOJO.

In addition to this excellent judging panel,
combining over 150 years of
experience in the breed, our specialty show sponsor, Royal Canin has generously
donated some very valuable prizes (i.e. an assortment of dog foods/treats,
grooming towels, GSD encyclopedias, leather leashes ,etc.) to be awarded and
raffled at the shows. We also have a hospitality event scheduled immediately
after the educational program on Saturday, and again after the Temperament
Test on Sunday.

SPECIAL RULES
1. Make hotel reservations early - Special rate hold until May 1st.
2. Exercise pens may be place on the perimeter grass around the parking lot only. Do not place pens between the sidewalk and the motel or in the island.
3. DO NOT bathe dogs in the motel bathtubs!!!!!!!
4. DO NOT leave dogs unattended in the rooms unless crated!!
5. Rooms will be inspected and trashers will be referred to the show committee for conduct detrimental to dog shows.
6. Clean up after your dog in the exercise areas.
