2008 K-9 Awards

No where to run.........No where to hide!

The GSDC of Eastern Virginia held its annual K-9 Award presentation on December 6^th, 2008 in conjunction with its Fall 2008 Specialty Show. The presentation was proudly sponsored by Care-A-Lot Pet Supply Warehouse and East Coast Communications of Virginia. This is their second year sponsoring the event which could not be done without their help. Thank you sponsors. Also, thanks to our photographer, Johnny Culbreth, Jr.

We honored 18 K-9 dogs and officers from seven different cities in the Hampton Roads area. We had 14 K-9’s and the handlers participate in the event which was spectacular. We also had an incredible drug detection exhibition and an apprehension exhibition. It brought a tear to your eyes to be made aware of what these officers do for us each and every day. It also goes to show that the German Shepherd Dog is more than just a pretty face. They are smart, courageous, loyal and brave. We are truly proud of each and every one of them.
